Ember through Obsidian
About the Work
"Ember through Obsidian" introduces a new direction in Neo-Tachisme, moving toward a more visceral, tactile exploration of the gestural mark. Built on a foundation of Zinc and Obsidian, the composition is defined by the high-impact friction of Cinnabar Slashes and frantic highlights. Amber Ember glows from beneath the debris of the darker pigments. It is a study in visual weight and somatic history, capturing the raw intensity of an artist grappling with the physical limits of the canvas through drips, stains, and emotional force.
