About the Work
“Studio Floor 1” is a living archive of a year’s worth of creative materials in the purest form of Neo-Techisme and the power of the Artist's Hand movement. Created from the repurposed drop cloth of my artist’s studio, the work is a topographical map of incidental beauty. Every splash, drip, and smear on this raw textile was born from the kinetic energy of other works, capturing a subconscious narrative of self-expression that occurred while the artist was looking elsewhere.
For me, this piece is about the beauty of the unintended.
